Instagram Livestream Sprint

I did a 2 hour sprint to see what I could add to my favourite social media platform to best incorporate a feature that tends to get underused.
Here, I focus on the integrating a user’s Instagram livestreams into their main user profile.

Social Media UI/UX Web Design Redesign
Slide with three text sections labeled Problem, Goals, and Parameters of Use describing user FOMO around missing Instagram livestreams, a curated saved-streams experience, and rules for expiration plus a new Streams tab. MacBook mockup of Instagram homepage showing a new Livestreams module in the right sidebar underneath Stories, listing accounts like drmartensofficial, adobe, and behance. Caption notes modular placement near Stories. MacBook mockup of the amberpkumar Instagram profile featuring standard tabs plus a new Streams tab aligned with high-use tabs for visibility. MacBook screenshot of the Streams tab showing a 2x3 grid of previous livestream thumbnails including concerts, dogs, and workspaces, with one pinned stream highlighted. MacBook displaying a livestream playback page with vertical video, user caption, and engagement icons, demonstrating pinned streams that prevent expiration. Slide titled Future Iterations with text about sequential story-like playback, a mobile version, and refining homepage navigation.
